Hey all, just a few words and notes about recent site updates.
The frame that used to be on the left hand side of this site is now gone. I’ve put the entire site into the ComicPress template and put some of the secondary Plastic Farm stuff (such as the cast page and stores) on individual pages. Some of the stuff that disappeared, such as the media page, will be back later when I have more time to make them better fit the new design scheme. (The store page is obviously in need of that same design overhaul, but there was no way I was going to delete the page that allows you to buy physical copies of these incredible comics.)
Bookmarking. A commenter a few months ago asked about page bookmarking. Well, there’s a little doohickey underneath and to the right of the comic that says “tag page”. There’s your bookmarking. Sorry I didn’t realize that it was there until now.
The Plastic Farm Livejournal account which I had been using as the “news” page will be retired. I will keep that account around so I can read my friends’ LJs, but all news will now be presented in this here blog. Those who wish to follow this blog (including the comics) through Livejournal can friend The Plastic Farm Syndicated LJ account I set up.
MySpace and ComicSpace links will be coming back once I figure out where to put them.
The Delphi forum that no one goes to will probably close soon, so no more links to that.
There are a couple of new ad spaces available to all of you who deal in the world of Project Wonderful. I don’t plan on making any sort of a living through ad revenue. Pretty much whatever these ads bring in will go back out in the form of advertising on other sites. So, the more advertising you folks buy on my site, the more advertising I can buy on other sites.
Are you following me on Twitter? You should be.
I have uploaded pages through March of 2009 so there should be no interruption caused by any unforeseen circumstances around my impending move.
I think that’s it. Let me know what you think of the changes and what else I can do to make life better.
And, as always, thank you for stopping by.
